Nora and Jim is an original new play by Nora Connolly, written for the Centenary Celebrations of Bloomsday in 2022. "Nora and Jim" intricately weaves the enchanting tale of James Joyce and his beloved muse, Nora Barnacle. Bound by a fervent passion, their journey is a symphony of love amidst the tumultuous winds of life. Departing Dublin on a crisp October evening in 1904, their elopement ignites a flame of romance  that inspired a literary legend.

The original production enjoyed a sell-out run in Dublin, Ireland and has gone on to tour Europe, as well as a private audience at Aras an Uachtarain. This is the US premiere of "Nora and Jim".

"Nora and Jim" is presented by The Irish Sea, in association with the Contemporary Irish Arts Center, Los Angeles (CIACLA) with ongoing guidance and support from Kevin Cronin and Dublin Theatre Productions
