Cinemagic LA: Behind the Curtain – Musical Theatre & Film Industry Insights Event

Cinemagic in partnership with CIACLA is excited to welcome students from WISH Academy, the Hawthorne School District, and more, to join young people from Northern Ireland and Ireland to a special creative industries event in Los Angeles this summer.

This full-day workshop, Behind the Curtain: Musical Theatre & Film Industry Insights, will take place at Loyola Marymount University on Monday 16th June 2025.

The day is designed to spark creativity and provide valuable insight into careers in the creative industries. Participants will take part in a dynamic musical theatre session led by award-winning Writer/Director Maire Campbell, and hear from acclaimed screenwriters Kirsten Sheridan and Ryan Rowe as they share their experience and advice on working in film and television.

This is a fantastic opportunity for communities to connect and young people to develop new skills, connect with like-minded peers, and explore pathways into the screen and performing arts sectors.
