CIACLA is proud to be a presenting partner of In Spring event; a Celtic-inspired album and live performance by Los Angeles based percussionist James Waterman and multi-instrumentalist Joel Reed Mankey.

The project draws inspiration on Celtic instrumentation (Irish whistle, frame drum, mandola) while weaving in influences from around the world. The music features collaborations with master musicians including Jett Kwong (voice), Clarice Cast (Brazilian percussion), Neel Agrawal (Indian classical percussion), and Sean FayeCullen (Irish bodhrán composer).

Additional guest artists include Yvette Holzwarth, Kate Outterbridge & Friends, and Andean Folk Musician Anaís Azul. In Spring blends traditional folk melodies with cinematic textures, transcultural instrumentation, and poetic storytelling. At its core, it portrays the American experience through a cross-cultural lens, highlighting what connects us across traditions and identities.

The live concert at Scribble will feature The In Spring Orchestra performing a full program of contemporary Irish-inspired and globally inflected works.
