Supporting Creatives Affected by the January 2025 Los Angeles Wildfires

In response to the devastating wildfires that impacted communities across Los Angeles County in January 2025, CIACLA has launched a new Artist Support Program to provide direct relief and help creative individuals recover and rebuild. This program offers two opportunities for artists and creatives currently living in LA County who were directly affected by the fires:
🔹 Emergency Microgrants
Up to $1,000 in unrestricted funding to help cover essential needs such as rent, food, medical costs, materials, or childcare. For up to 15-30 Artists.
🔹 Creative Event Support
A $1,500 artist fee for up to five artists or creatives participating in public-facing, in-person creative activities happening before Dec 1st 2025 such as exhibitions, performances, or workshops. CIACLA will be listed as a presenting or supporting partner, and participants must acknowledge our funders.
CIACLA welcomes applications from any artist or creative based in LA County who was financially affected by the January 2025 fires. You do not need to be affiliated with CIACLA or of Irish heritage to apply.
🔍 If selected, you will be required to:
- Provide proof of residence or work in one of the affected neighborhoods
- Submit a short impact report after completing your activity or using the funds
